"Cancellation was fine, but whoever runs this should make it easier"
I had US LawShield for a while and eventually cancelled because I just didn’t really need it anymore. Nothing dramatic, it just wasn’t something I was using enough to keep paying for.

The cancellation process was okay, but a little annoying. I had to call in, sit on hold for a bit, and then answer a bunch of questions before they would actually process it. Whoever runs this really needs to make cancelling online an option.

To be fair, it did get cancelled and I wasn’t charged again, so that part worked out. I just wish the whole thing felt less old-school and didn’t require a phone call for something that should take two minutes.

"Useful info, but the sales calls were a bit much"
I did get some helpful information from them, and that part was fine. But then the upgrade calls started coming in more than I expected. I get that they’re trying to sell more stuff, I mean that’s how these things go, but it felt a little pushy after a while. Kind of took away from the otherwise decent experience

"Feels worth having"
I’ve had US Law Shield for a little while now, i feel good about it overall. It’s one of those things that just makes me feel better having it there, even if I hope I never actually need it. The information has been useful in a general sort of way, and customer service was fine when I reached out. One response did take a bit longer than I would’ve liked, which was kind of annoying, but not enough to change how I feel about it. Overall, it just gives me some peace of mind, and that matters.

"Their emails and phone support were easy..."
Their emails and phone support were easy to follow overall. I did have to ask about one thing a second time, but that wasn’t a big deal. They got back to me and explained it in a simple way, so it worked out fine.

"Decent perks if you actually use them"
I figured the member benefits would be like most programs where only one or two things are actually useful, and that’s pretty much how it felt. The legal help and discounts are genuinely nice and make it feel worth having, even if the whole thing isn’t perfect.

"Helpful rep, but the waiting was annoying"
I ended up signing up after talking with a rep who actually knew what he was talking about. He answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed, which I appreciated. The website was easy to use overall too. I’m taking off one star because I had to wait longer than I expected, which was frustrating, and a couple of things could definitely be explained more clearly...

I emailed them first and got a helpful reply, though it took a little while. I ended up calling after that, and since that was the most recent part of the whole thing, it really stuck with me, the person on the phone was friendly and sorted things out well. Overall, good support, just not the fastest response by email.

"Pretty decent coverage from what I remember"
I used this for legal coverage and, from what I actually remember, it did what I needed for the most part. The coverage seemed decent enough, though I’m probably forgetting some of the smaller details. The only thing that sticks out is that support took a little longer than I would’ve liked. Not perfect, but not bad either.

"Claim got sorted faster than I expected"
I had to file a claim and, i was already bracing myself for a bunch of waiting around and chasing people for updates. But they answered quickly, told me exactly what to send, and kept checking in without me having to nag them. I’m not the most patient person with this stuff, so I really appreciated that they made a stressful situation a lot less irritating.

"Worth it for the peace of mind"
For what it costs, the membership feels like a good deal to me. I like knowing there’s someone I can call if something goes wrong, and the extra information they send has actually been helpful. I haven’t had to use it for anything major yet, so I’m holding off on giving it a full 5 stars. Overall though, it just makes me feel a little more prepared and less stressed

"Family coverage left me a little unsure"
I signed up mostly for the family coverage, and maybe I just didn’t read everything closely enough, but it wasn’t as clear as I thought it would be. I ended up having to ask a few times who was actually covered and in which situations. Support did respond, so I don’t want to make it sound awful, but the replies were kind of slow and a little short. Maybe it’s totally fine for other families, I’m not sure, but for mine it felt more confusing than it needed to be. Not terrible, just not the best experience.

"Helpful for gun owners"
I tried US LawShield for firearms law education and it was easy to follow. They explained things in plain English not all that confusing legal talk. I feel a lot clearer about what I can and can’t do now. Definitely worth it for the peace of mind.

"Hotline was quicker than I expected"
I called the emergency hotline and got through faster than I thought I would. Compared to other places I’ve called in stressful situations, this felt a lot less frustrating. The person on the phone stayed calm and clearly walked me through what information they needed.
I’m giving 4 stars because I did end up waiting a bit for the follow-up, which wasn’t ideal. But the first call itself was helpful and made me feel like things were at least moving in the right direction

"Pretty easy site to use overall"
The site was easy to move around, and the pages loaded fast, which I always take as a good sign. I found the info I needed without having to dig too much. I kind of assumed checkout would be just as smooth since everything else was, but it felt a little clunky compared to the rest.
